![]() So I still wonder if there is a legit macro program that can actually sense in-game mechanics in games that arent effectively supported by collaboration between the hardware manufacturer and the game developer. It alters memory usage of the application and so on depending on what cheat it is you try to use in the game. It isnt a simple macro program, it communicates with the application you want to cheat in at a completely different level. Yeah but that is cheat engine, which is already not allowed to be active when WF is running. What you say? Fair deal if you are so certain about it Ill send that video to support and we will see what will happen to your account Then you record how you are using it and give me that video of you playing the game using that automated script I will make ability auto casting scripts for you and you will use it to play warframe (simple script that will cast whatever you want after # period of time after activate it by pressing 1 button once and it will loop itself) What we are talking about here is turbo button on a controller vs auto path function in mmosīut i think you wont understand it unless you experience it first hand So, they've given themselves carte blanche to ban cheeky bastards. It's not really feasible to cover every possible situation in written rules. There are lots of grey areas and I totally understand why DE is being so vague on the matter. Use some common sense, don't do cheaty stuff and you'll be fine. Macro runs while you're not actively playing = not ok. Macro runs while you're actively playing = ok But taking it away would be an absolute **** move. Toggling something is a great accessibility option. Whilst unpleasant, this is a very effective method of turning "hold" into "toggle". The requirement for a key to be held down is susceptible to a very old, very low-tech hacking technique: you can always put a dead hamster on the button. Here's why:īoth hold and toggle will send exactly same logical inputs, so for an anti-cheat software that monitors only logical presses there would be no difference. I wholeheartedly disagree with this arbitrary rule. Then in that macro you could tie in wait times if Cleave has a CD so instead of cleaving or using Battlecry you'd cast a bread and butter skill with no CD or minimal GCD. Cast Skill:Battlecry - If Skill:Battlecry Active /Cast Skill:Cleave Since I doubt you can make macros with a third party program that recognizes if a buff is active or not in the game, like you could in WoW or FFXIV with "if" macros. Then if function #1 hasnt been used in a number of seconds equaling the duration of the skill it will automatically use function #1 of the macro, and in other cases it will do whatever you want it to when you press the button as the /wait command skips the skill cast. ![]() Or if the macros system is deep enough you might be able to tie the first funtction of a macro to a skill cast along with a /wait command. So you could possibly do something like say add "if" varibales to you macro, so a normal click would do one thing, but if it is click number X it would instead use a power. I guess in WF it is OK with multi-use buttons, like people had their slide+melee macro before, but I dont think something like timed macros are allowed, something you press once and then the game does X thing each Y seconds. I did alot of them in FFXIV and WoW though. I havent done any macroing in WF or many other games with thord party software so not sure how much they can do. It all depends how you intend for the interaction to work. While holding key for maintaining spam still require constant input from the player thats why its not prohibited Which is allowing player to press 1 key and dont give a F*** So general idea of what is not allowed for any auto clickers is to let player to do exact same thing which devs were trying to remove from the game Thats why we had so many changes made to many AoE frames like ember for example ![]() Well look general idea of warframe abilities was to remove anything when you were able to press 1 key and can go afk IF he would wish for it to re-cast on its own as long as he would hold LMB it would be perfectly fineīut not when he would be able to press 1 key dont touch anything and loop would repeat itself on its own So if he press lets say F2 and F3 he could have loop of auto re-casting limbos cataclysm and stasis on its own and go idk take a dump To my understanding what he want to do is to make a script that after activating a hotkey an ability will re-cast on its own after timer runs out "so when i hold the left click button" != "it would cast an ability every so often" Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, use of macros is allowed as long as you actually play the game. Questions like this have been raised since forever.
